Can you dig it? These two artists sure do dig working with glass.

Digglass is owned and operated by the talented and dynamic team of Michelle Freeman and Brian Heikes. Brian has been working with glass in glass blowing and lampworking and jewelry design since 1988. He currently works for Moon Marble in Bonner Springs, Kansas and enjoys teaching others his craft in glass making classes in soft effetre glass and borosilicate (boro or pyrex) glass. Michelle got into glass making and lampworking about 5 years ago. She became interested after watching Brian make hand blown glass marbles. It started out as a hobby just making her own jewelry. She soon had found her passion for making jewelry. After doing a few shows with a friend at area festivals such as the Wakarusa Music Festival, and having so much fun meeting people and talking about her hobby; she soon realized her fun hobby could be a business adventure as well.

Michelle is very outgoing and loves meeting people and talking with them at shows and festivals. She loves people and is just a fun person to be around.

The jewelry Brian and Michelle make is all handmade (made of handmade lampwork beads) and each piece is a unique work of art.

Digglass can be seen at many local craft shows and festivals around the Kansas City area. A memorable show was a trip to Seattle for the hemp festival.
